How to Take a CBD Concentrate
It’s best to store your CBD concentrate in a dark, dry, room temperature place to ensure efficacy and potency. We recommend experimenting to find the best daily regimen for you. The recommended serving size for a CBD concentrate is the size of a grain of rice (or less) to be a sufficient daily intake to start. After the CBD has built up in your system, you may find that you can start taking less to get the same results, but our bodies and results can vary.
There are approximately 30 rice-sized servings per 1 gram. At a 25% concentration, that’s 8-9 mg CBD per rice-sized serving.
- Squeeze the oil onto the backside of a spoon, or directly under your tongue. Since the gold label, CBD concentrate is a gel, it should slide easily from the tube so be careful how hard you press the first few times.
- Place the oil under your tongue if not already and hold for 90 seconds. Don’t talk as the oil will start to move around your mouth and won’t taste very good.
- Swallow the oil. If you kept it under your tongue without talking you may have not tasted it very much. When you go to swallow it you’ll likely start to taste a hempy, earthy kind of taste. Some enjoy this if you don’t wash it down with water, milk, or a beverage of your choosing. Apple cider and orange juice work pretty well.
